A luxuriously decorated and designed vacation home, Fisherman’s Cove, is nestled in Old Florida’s natural vegetation between the Gulf of Mexico and the Indian Pass Lagoon. Being gulf front, this home has a bird’s eye view of St. Vincent Island. Just a few hundred feet away from the Indian Pass Public Boat Ramp, you can launch your own boat with ease or hop on the St. Vincent Island Shuttle where you can explore the unique and natural island.
About the home, this is not your traditional fisherman’s camp even though those luxuries exist for the fishermen in the group. For those looking to relax in class, it is absolutely gorgeous with impeccable décor. A newly built 4 bedroom home, the style rivals any 30A or Destin vacation home. The only difference is the location. It’s as far removed from that hustle and bustle as you can get. An ideal spot to unplug and reconnect and enjoy what vacations are meant for, just sit back on one of the decks and you’ll understand what that means.

Summary: The overall stay was nice. However the elevator was at times difficult to operate due to the exterior door not unlocking. There were some cosmetic errors such as a screen door on the second balcony being off the door and the outdoor lights are very dim. There also looked like there was possible mold in two vents on the third floor. Other than the few hiccups the stay was good.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here a lot. It really is steps from the beach. It is a little narrow with needing to make room for golf carts and cars driving by on the beach, but doable for sure. We also kayaked over (quick paddle) to St Vincent which was awesome. We found so many cool shells!! Would stay here again.

Summary: Well, I will start this review by saying, we were a little hesitant after reading a recent review from the end of June that stated “no window treatments on bedroom windows”. We brought black garbage bags and duct tape just in case. I had already inquired about the issue and the day we arrived, a member of the maintenance team stopped by and hung up linens which helped. Please tell the owners, they need to invest in window treatments……It’s just weird not to have them on bedroom windows! Other than that, the home was lovely. You do need to be mindful that there are many stairs but there is also an elevator which helped tremendously because we brought a huge cooler and lots of food with us. The furniture you see in the pictures is not what is in the home. This really needs to be updated. Part of the reason we rented was because of the decor and for what this cost, it’s false advertising in my opinion. The other issue is, we were not aware that this was not on the gulf. It’s on the bay. While still beautiful, we did not dare swim. You couldn’t see but a few feet off shore and there were lots of small shark and some jellyfish. This was the only place available that accepted dogs when we made the reservation. Again, I want to say that the home was very nice and the view was beautiful and we had a great time. The area is also good for kayaking on most days. I would rate overall a 4 for this property.

Summary: The house was very nice. It was clean, well equipped, and apparently good pest control. The pictures need to be updated. The furniture is different than the pictures. The dining room table now accommodates six instead of four which was great for our family of six. The room with the bunk beds now has a queen size bed which is a very tight fit. This could be a problem if you were expecting bunk beds for two children. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The area is uncrowded with a small town feel. Be aware you’ll need to take insect repellent. This area is really bad for mosquitoes.

Summary: Gorgeous house! Very comfortable beds. Great spaces in the home. View from main level very nice. * Need to know there are 5-6 flights of stairs to mail level, carpeted for safety. Elevator at house helps for sure but it’s small. 2 flights of stairs up and then down to get to the beach. We were here in early August and bugs were awful!!! If there’s no breeze you need lots of bug spray.
